Strengthening the public health workforce is essential for effective surveillance and outbreak response. Field Epidemiology Training Programs (FETPs) play a key role, with teaching case studies enabling practical application of epidemiologic methods. This supplement of case studies was developed through an EMPHNET-supported initiative using structured training, mentoring, and peer review. These case studies cover outbreak investigations, surveillance evaluation, and data analysis, providing practical tools to strengthen applied epidemiology training and workforce capacity.
