Dedonder - Clayton Award 2011 on HIV/AIDS awarded to Dr Mathurin Cyrille Tejiokem

Dr Mathurin Cyrille TEJIOKEM, member of the editorial board of the Pan African Medical Journal was awarded the 2011 Clayton-Dedonder Scholarship Award by the Institut Pasteur, Paris, France. This award was established by the Institut Pasteur of Paris (IPP), and the National Institute of Health (NIH) to support emerging leaders in HIV/AIDS Research from the developing countries in Africa and Asia. Dr Mathurin works as medical doctor and epidemiologist at the Centre Pasteur du Cameroun in Yaoundé. The 46,000 USD scholarship will support his work on the impact of early antiretroviral therapy on HIV infected children.
