Dr. Raoul Kamadjeu, Managing Editor of the Pan African Medical Journal (PAMJ) is one of the speaker at this year’s Open Access Africa Conference that will be held at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana on 25 - 26th October 2011.
Dr. Kamadjeu’s talk entitled “The Pan African Medical Journal – Inside an African, Open Access Journal” will focus on the key lessons learned from the first 4 years of PAMJ, and the journal’s strategic directions to engage the continent in the open access movement in ways that stimulate and perpetuate a culture of scientific publication amongst African health professionals, and increase the availability of health information and knowledge for the global health community.
Open Access Africa 2011 Conference will bring together researchers, librarians and funding bodies to discuss the benefits of open access publishing in an African context.
