A 22 year old man was admitted after reporting a snake bite on his scrotum. Patient had negligible local signs of envenoming but presented with classical signs of neurotoxicity. The uniqueness of the case lies in the fact that scrotum is a very rare and unusual site for snake bite. Prior to hospital attendance, he was treated with traditional home made ointment due to superstitious beliefs. At hospital, patient was given Anti snake venom and put on mechanical ventilation, he subsequently made remarkable recovery and was discharged without any sequelae.
