According to a press release received by our editorial team on January 11 2009 from the Rotary International, the Gates Foundation, and the British and German governments committed more than 630 million US dollars in new funds to fight polio. This injection of fresh cash is surely welcome by the Polio Eradication Initiative. The Pamj made some changes on the website starting January 2009 in order to improve the journal's managment processes. Issue numbers of editorials already published will be affected, but the feel-and-look of the website will remain the same. A new article about the changes will soon follow.
